Here is my weekly progress and for the magazine project and also a rough plan.

WEEK - 01

We started off our new term by labelling our blog post for comp 1 and publish our brief post, weekly progress, and magazine research. We then learned about new magazine terminology while identifying them with our own magazine(national geographic) that I've brought from home. 

WEEK - 02

I started my magazine research by analyzing my front cover page of my national geographic, we had to identify the elements featured in it and we had to refer it back to the function of it towards the readers. We then continue on analyzing it in the form of a bigger detail and so I'll need to save up time in order to finish my homework of 2 Big ideas and an additional of 4 small ideas. For knowledge theory, there are a couple elements that I need to relearn as we need to memorize the terms for future test/exams.

WEEK - 03

Task:

This week I had to complete my magazine research that includes 4 big details and 2 small details of our front cover page, table of content, and double page magazine, we also made a post about Stuart Hall Theory where we had to search through media's through-out Indonesia and analyze what they represent (negatively and positively).

Problem: 

I had a hard time managing my time this week as my basketball practice intensives to 4 days every week and had 2 quiz and 1 test of math which crashed through my 4 big detail and 2 small detail magazine research task. For my own magazine research, it took me awhile to chose the genre but then I was able to conclude on choosing cuisines.

To-do-list:

- Finish my magazine research

- revise Stuart Hall theory

- finish my statement of intent.   

WEEK - 04

Task: In theory class, we explored Steve Neale's genre theory and how demographics and psychographics are crucial for influencing the audience. This understanding is essential for making informed decisions about the target audience for my project.

Problem: 

I had difficulties when choosing a title for my magazine due to an abundance of ideas, making it challenging to make my final choice. To tackle this, I started exploring more related magazine's theme, evaluating various options to find the most fitting and resonant title.

To-do-list:

I have to tidy up my blog posts for a cleaner layout. Also, I need to wrap up the magazine research, development, and statement of intent. I'll keep it flexible to add any relevant information that might enhance the overall project.

WEEK - 05

Task: 

This week I had to prepare for my test on theories where we had to make a mind-map of the theory given to us, I had to make a mind-map about Cultivation theory where we had to list down the definition, author, find a case study, personal anecdote for it. We then had to do a gallery walk and during that time I was able to recall my memory on other theories that my other friends had to present on. Later on, we had to publish 3 new blog post consisting of our Double Page Spread: Research and Development, Terminology and lastly Technical Skill.

Problem: 

I had a few difficulties on finding the case study for the mind-map that i was working on and for my double page research, I had a few decision that was hard to make such as deciding which article to use for my research.

To-do-list: 

WEEK - 06

Task:

This week we started our 700 word article and we've finalize our double page research. For the knowledge that I've learned is that we went through a brief explanation about traditional and new media. We then research further and analyze the difference it makes to us now in the modern world and our parents whos felt the changes of media.

Problem: 

I had trouble finishing my double page research and development due to my packed schedule so i was unable to finish it on time

To do list:

Finalize my double page research and tidy up my blog.

WEEK - 07

Task:

This week we were given a checklist on our blog post on section B that's needed to be completed. This gives me an easier overview to check which I've completed and which is not. This week will be my last week this semester, so I'll have to finish all my blog as its due this Thursday. 

Problem:

I had difficulties keeping track some of the blogs that I haven't complete, thus it took me awhile to recheck each blog and tick off the list the my teacher prepared for me.

To-do-list:

Finish my reflection on my blog post and recheck the labelling, while completing the blogs that's not been ticked as "complete".
