Brief Overview/Summary: Goofy nerd driving his invisible automobile around the neighborhood and clubs.
1. Target Audience
- Individuals, primarily men between the ages of 21 and 30, who can drive
2. Message and Purpose
- Message: Get an insurance for your car
- Purpose: Car insurance may help cover the costs of repairing or replacing your car if it is damaged in an accident, as well as medical bills for passengers if they're hurt.
3. Meaning and Interpretation
- Uses rap song featuring SnoopDog who's an iconic figure in the hip-hop and rap music industry, this gives off a cool and energetic atmosphere, especially for rap and hip-hop fans, and will help encourage them to obtain vehicle insurance in order to keep safe.
4. Effectiveness
- It's fairly effective on how they portrayed a white guy driving his invisible car through the mafia-ruled neighborhood. They also included SnoopDog, which helped attract hip-hop fans within the audience, yet the advertisement itself falls short of demonstrating the fundamental need for the audience to purchase insurance for their vehicles.
5. Personal Response
- It was first rather perplexing because it had a white guy riding his invisible automobile and then ended up with Snoopdog spitting out phrases about saving money, which then talks a little about the benefits of car insurance.

Title of the Advertisement: Gorilla
Brand/Product: Cadbury Dairy Milk
Duration of the Advertisement: 1.31 minute
Brief Overview/Summary: A gorilla drumming to the song "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins then featured
Cadbury's chocolate.
1. Target Audience
- People, both gender - especially those who's a fan of Phil Collins
2. Message and Purpose
- Message: For audience to sway along the iconic drum fill of the song played by a gorilla
- Purpose: To laugh and buy the chocolate
3. Meaning and Interpretation
- The set takes place in a studio with purple background to mimic the packaging of the Cadbury chocolate
wrapping while the main focus goes to the gorilla drumming to the song of Phil Collins that was released in the
year of 2007 which makes audience nostalgic to the song while they can enjoy the chocolate of Cadbury.
4. Effectiveness
- The dramatic music combined with the surprising image of the gorilla's performance resulted in a memorable
and viral campaign. The ad was praised for its originality and for reviving interest in the song, making it popular
once more.
5. Personal Response
- The ad was funny especially as it featured a gorilla having a fun time playing his drum though as a Gen-z
who doesn't recognize the song - I had trouble identifying the purpose of the ad and especially the correlation
towards the chocolate but overall its quite memorable.

Brand/Product: Barbie
Duration of the Advertisement: 30 seconds
Brief Overview/Summary: 3 young girls playing with 3 colored Barbie by styling their hairs and spraying them
somewhat like a salon role-play.

- Young girls, around the age of 4-12 years old
2. Message and Purpose
- Message: young girls don't need to be ashamed of their dark skin tone
- Purpose: they get to style different hairstyle and play with Barbie
3. Meaning and Interpretation
- They shot took place in a salon which relates to the new Barbie feature that can be styled using braiding tools
and water spray. They also use bright and fashionable clothing to influence young girls to be proud of themselves.
4. Effectiveness
- They use a very catchy song for children's to vibe while playing with Barbie and they featured colored skin
Barbie which reaches a wider audience
5. Personal Response
- It's a pretty fun ad to watch as the song is catchy and shows a different way we can play with
Barbie(Hair Salon).

Brand/Product: Volkswagen
Duration of the Advertisement: 1:01 minute
Brief Overview/Summary: A young boy dressed up as Darth Vader - a villain in a movie called 'Star Wars' who's
venturing around the house using its 'force' to move things around and ended up turning on the car with his
father's help using the remote controlled lock.
1. Target Audience
- A family with kids who's interested to buy a new car
2. Message and Purpose
- Message: the car has remote controlled features to unlock it at a distant.
- Purpose: to impress your kid and travel around with the car that can fit a family size.
3. Meaning and Interpretation
- It features a very famous villain character which attracts movie lovers and some might as well be a family
who are in need for a car
4. Effectiveness
- It comedic as the boy plays the role of Darth Vader and wanted to use its power for his own use around the
house which creates a family friendly atmosphere as well as the father being his sons emotional support, act along
with its role by unlocking the car which influence the boy. This might attract fathers amongst the audience into
doing a cool trick with the car.

- It's a memorable advert that brings joy amongst the audience which the main object - the car is featured.

Title of the Advertisement: Let's Build - Lego
Brand/Product: Lego
Duration of the Advertisement: 1 Minute
Brief Overview/Summary: A young boy teaming up with his father in order to build Lego's to spend their
Christmas together.
1. Target Audience
- Males, can be youngsters around the age of 4-12 who enjoys building using their imagination or even dad's who has a son waiting for his Christmas present.
2. Message and Purpose
- Message: Fathers and boys may spend their day together making Legos during the most joyful time of
year - Christmas.
- Purpose: Is to attract and remind parents(dads) that spending time with their children can help with their team
bonding and widens their imagination especially by playing Lego's.
3. Meaning and Interpretation
- Throughout the advertisement, many types of figures and buildings created with Legos are seen, allowing
youngsters to explore their creativity and imagination just by stacking up a block. It also employs vibrant colors
to draw children's attention, and the narrator is voiced by the boy himself, which appeals to youngsters since they
prefer listening to individuals who are similar to them (not parents).
4. Effectiveness
- It's especially powerful since the advertisement depicts a little child having the time of his life creating robots
and castles out of Legos with his other best friend - his father, which builds an emotional connection and a great
storyline.
5. Personal Response
- It's a very memorable and emotional advert as it shows how much of bond can be created between sons and
fathers just by playing a simple colorful toy - Lego. The narrators voice is also very calming to listen while the
clip features them both having fun during Christmas.
